The long awaited Lamborghini Huracan convertible has finally been revealed. Dubbed the Huracan LP 610-4 Spyder, it is powered by the same 602hp 5.2 litre V10 found in the coupe. The Spyder’s soft-top roof opens and closes electrically in 17 seconds, and can be operated at speeds up to 50km/h. That roof is available in three colours (black, brown and red)In addition, a retractable rear window doubles as a wind deflector, plus there are a further pair of removable lateral wind guards to reduce buffeting when the roof is down.
Hurcan Spyder can accelerate from 0-100km/h in 3.4sec and has a top speed of 320 km/h, matching the coupé in the sprint but falling 3 km/h short at the top end. The 5.2 litre V10 sends power to all four wheels via a seven-speed paddle-shift gearbox.
Top up or top down, one has to admit that this is one of the best looking convertibles out there.
