This new model replaces the outgoing 5 Series Gran Turismo. More Sleeker, more appealing is what the new 6 Series Gran Turismo is.
Most of us will agree that this particular is more pleasing to the eye compared to its predecessor which it shares the same underpinnings from. The car is longer (87mm) the height slightly lower (21mm) and retains its width. It also sees improvements such as BMW’s Adaptive LED headlights as standard, active rear spoiler, active aerodynamics in the front grille, behind the front wheels, and at the rear of the car and loses 150 kilograms of weight through the use of aluminium and high-strength steel grades for body and chassis components.
The 6 Series Gran Turismo is fitted with a 10.25-inch high definition display with iDrive and gesture control technology, and 1,400 watt Bowers & Wilkins Diamond 16-speaker surround sound system.
The car has been confirmed for South Africa and will be launched it November with only 2 models being the 640i xDrive Gran Turismo and 630d Gran Turismo.
